This coming weekend service of worship will be for the Twenty-second Sunday after Pentecost. Falling this year, on November 10th, this Sunday provides us with an opportunity to remember: one day in advance of Canada’s national observance of Remembrance Day. Special welcome, this Sunday morning, to David Bamford, whose trumpet will accompany us as we participate in a traditional act of remembrance. May this Sunday’s solemn observance—at this time that mingles gratitude and grief—be both meaningful and worshipful.
