This weekend’s service of worship will be for the Ninteenth Sunday after Pentecost. With Rev. Foster away on vacation, we are pleased to welcome Andria Irwin to our pulpit. Andria is the online minister for Highlands United Church in North Vancouver and is a candidate for ordination in the UCC. She is passionate about developing quality online worship and about bringing a progressive Christian voice to the vast landscape of the Internet. In partnership with the LeaderShift Church Planting Program, Andria has been called to plant an online church community in the Pacific Mountain Region that enables United Churches from around the province to come together and share resources, while also sharing the radical hospitality of Christ with the wider world, virtually. She is currently completing the final year of her Masters of Divinity at the Vancouver School of Theology. Andria is mildly obsessed with Instagram, an avid traveler, and a wearer of inappropriately high heels. She and her husband Steve live in downtown Vancouver with their imaginary French bulldog, Eugene. This Sunday morning we will recall the meaning of Christian hospitality and welcome one and all to Trinity!
